On 27 January 2013, Ladies Association of the Malaysian Embassy of Amman, Jordan organized a charity visit to the Al Hussein Orphanage Center and Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein at Amman, Jordan headed by Mrs. Jamilah Talib, Chairman of the Ladies Association of the Malaysian Embassy of Amman. During the visit, the Director of the Center, Ms. Amal briefed the background of the center, projects and services offered to beneficiaries of the orphanage center. The Center accommodates 98 children and provides hostel accommodation and educations for the orphanages.
The Ladies Association of the Malaysian Embassy of Amman has contributed food parcels, mattresses, hygienic kits, school bags and stationeries to the Center. This is just one of the many efforts that the ladies participated and part of the activities for the year 2013. This imitative was carried out under the patron of the Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan, Dato’ Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz.
After visiting the Al Hussein Orphanage Center, the continuation of the activities carried out at the Mabarrat Um Al Hussein. The Director of the center briefed that the orphanage school was established 54 years ago, aims to educate and care for boys between the ages of 6-18 who are living in hardship. A large number of these kids are either orphans, or come from broken homes and impoverished families.
