Malaysian Ambassador Dato' Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz visited the Al-al-Bayt University in Mafraq on April, 22 which is presently hosting over 160 malaysian students in Arabic and Syariah studies. During the visit, the Ambassador called on the University President Dr. Nabil Shawaqfeh and discussed means to enhance cooperation between the academic institutions of Malaysia and Jordan.

The ambassador also took the opportunity to meet with Malaysian students there and visited the language centre and the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the University.
