Working Visit of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Delegation to Jordan, 19-21 October 2011

Former PM  Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Hj Mohd Ali together with 8 accompanying officials made a working visit to Jordan in conjunction with the conferment ceremony of an honorary doctorate to Tun Mahathir in ‘International Diplomacy and Foreign Relations’ by Jordan University held on October 20. The delegation arrived on October 19 by private aircraft and departed for Qatar on October 21. Tun Mahathir also delivered a public lecture on Malaysian economic experience in the afternoon session of the conferment ceremony followed by Q&A on Malaysian economic achievements and politics during his premiership. Both events were well attended including by Malaysian students.
