YB DEPUTY MINISTER DATO' DR MASHITAH VISITS JORDAN

Malaysia and Jordan to further enhance cooperation in Islamic affairs following YB Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Dato' Dr Mashitah Ibrahim's working visit to Jordan from 1-4 February, 2010 During the visit , she called on Jordanian Mnister of Awqaf Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Abbadi.
Director General, Ministry of Education Malaysia - Tan Sri Hj. Alimuddin bin Hj. Mohd Dom , Tuan Hj Che Ibrahim bin Che Man, Director , Darul Quran JAKIM , Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan Dato? Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz and other officials accompanied her during the visit. They also held discussions with Jordan University , Al-al-Bayt University and Yarmork University regarding means to enhance bilateral cooperation in education field and met Malaysian students studying in Jordan.
YB Deputy Minister also met with Grand Mufti of Jordan Samahah Al-Syaikh Dr Noh Salman Al-Qudah where they exchanged views on Islamic affairs.
