The Malaysian Muslim community in Kenya celebrated Aidiladha on 6 June 2024. On the second day of the celebration, a number of Malaysians in Kenya and Malaysia joined the effort to help the underprivileged by donating meat from sacrificial cows and goats. A special programme was held in Rongai, on the outskirts of Nairobi, where seven cows and five goats were slaughtered. The meat was then distributed to needy families in the area. This charitable initiative was jointly organised by the High Commission of Malaysia and the Embassy of Kuwait in Kenya. The High Commissioner, H.E. Ruzaimi Mohamad, witnessed the slaughtering process and personally took part in the distribution of the meat to the beneficiaries.
