On 27 June 2025, UN-Habitat had its first meeting for the Joint Bureaux of the Governing Bodies of UN-Habitat. The hybrid meeting was chaired virtually by the President of the UN-Habitat Assembly, Hon. Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia. H.E. Ruzaimi attended the meeting physically at UN-Habitat HQ and represented the Hon. Minister to chair the second half of the meeting.
