High Commissioner Loh Seck Tiong welcomed the first batch of 2018 MyCorps @ Africa humanitarian mission to Kenya on 9 January. The two groups of 12 people were assigned to Mombasa and Turkana counties. The group comprised of public and private sector employees. The mission will end March 7, 2018.
MyCorps @ Africa is a National Volunteering Program under the auspices Ministry of Youth and Sports. The program provides opportunity for aspiring Malaysian youth to gain working experience abroad. MyCorps aims to produce high quality international volunteers who are qualified, skillful, knowledgeable and with high values of volunteerism. These volunteers are sent all over the world to participate in humanitarian work.
