ACCCIM TRADE AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION MISSION TO CAMBODIA, 2-5 MARCH 2011
A delegation from the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) headed by its Executive Adviser; Tan Sri Dato’ Soong Siew Hoong; paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Datuk Pengiran Hj Mohd Hussein Datuk Pengiran Hj Mohd Tahir Nasruddin on 2 March 2011 and subsequently held a Press Conference to some selected local Cambodian broadcast and printed media at the newly completed Embassy of Malaysia complex.
The 28-member-delegation comprises ACCCIM representatives from various industries such as manufacturing, services, trading and property developers; had organized a few courtesy visits to the related Cambodian trade and industry’s associations and other Business Councils in Phnom Penh, factory visits, business matching, as well as seminars involving Cambodian entrepreneurs to seek business opportunities in the areas of infrastructure, utilities, property development and other potential investment projects in the Kingdom.
ACCCIM was founded in 1947 as an autonomous private sector organisation and at present represents more than 28,000 Malaysian Chinese companies, individuals and trade associations with over 100,000 members.
