24 July 2025 – H.E. Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia and Chairman of the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) Steering Committee delivered the opening remarks at the Wrap-Up Event for the Enhance Victim Assistance Programme, a 4-year initiative empowering landmine and explosive remnants of war (ERW) survivors in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
Supported by the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund, the programme engaged over 5,700 survivors, trained 243 professionals, developed Regional Guidelines, and launched the ASEAN Victim Assistance Network to strengthen support services across the region.
