The ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) organized its 21st Steering Committee Meeting (21st SCM) at the ARMAC PS office on January 18, 2024. The meeting addressed relevant updates and the latest information regarding ARMAC's progress. It also marked the handover from Indonesia to Laos as the new chair for ARMAC in 2024. During the meeting, representatives of ASEAN member states also voted for the new Executive Director, Ms. Rothna Buth from Cambodia, to lead ARMAC's activities, effectively from February 1, 2024.
