On 23 July 2022, H.E. Ambassador Eldeen Husaini attended the ceremony to declare Veal Village in Kampong Speu Province as a Mine-Free Village. The event was also attended by H.E. Hun Many, Chairman of the 7th Committee of the National Assembly and Member of Parliament of Kampong Speu, and H.E. Senior Minister Ly Thuch, 1st Vice President of the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA). Kudos to the Government and people of Cambodia as well as Khmer Times for their relentless hard work to make Veal Village free from mines.
