The Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Shaharuddin Onn, made a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Cambodia, H.E. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh. H.E. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed the Ambassador and praised the strong diplomatic relations between the two countries. H.E. Shaharuddin Onn expressed his deepest gratitude to the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and conveyed his commitment to further strengthening and expanding the already excellent relations and cooperation between Malaysia and Cambodia. The discussions covered a range of key areas, including politics, national security and defense, economy, tourism, education, and vocational training. Notably, both parties also touched on the proposed establishment of a halal industry park to promote the development of the halal sector in Cambodia for domestic and international markets.
