This afternoon, H.E. Datuk Ambassador Eldeen Husaini received a courtesy call from the Federation of Tourism, Personal Care and Health Cooperatives Malaysia Berhad (FTPCHC) team at the Embassy. H.E. Datuk Ambassador was briefed on their profile, projects, and potential expansion of their services into the Cambodian market. The Federation was appreciative of feedback received from H.E. Datuk Ambassador on how they could explore opportunities to market their products, and promote halal tourism in Cambodia. On 11 January 2023, the Federation hosted Halal Quick and Easy Food Demonstration and Food Testing at Olympia City Hotel by Dara and it was attended by many of its stakeholders including the Ministry of Tourism, the president of the chef society of Cambodia, as well as restaurant owners, and retailers, to experience how the Halal Quick and Easy Food was prepared. The Embassy will assist in helping the team to establish halal cooperation whilst penetrating the Cambodian market, for them to be able to reach out to the demands of the locals in the best possible way.
