On 12 July 2022, H.E. Ambassador Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sun Sovannarith, Governor of Kampong Chhnang, at the latter’s office. H.E. Ambassador Eldeen Husaini was accompanied by heads of department from the Embassy of Malaysia, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia’s Ladies Association in Phnom Penh (PERWAKILAN Phnom Penh). Both sides explored potentials for collaboration in the areas of trade and investment, tourism, as well as to promote cultural exchanges and encourage more people-to-people contacts between Malaysians and Cambodians that would be mutually beneficial. Afterwards, the delegation was graciously given a short boat tour of Kampong Chhnang’s various islands, the Women's Development Center (WDC), as well as Kampong Chhnang's Pottery Factory
