On 31 August 2022, a flag-hoisting ceremony took place at the Embassy of Malaysia, Phnom Penh to mark the 65th anniversary of Malaysia’s Independence. The ceremony was officiated by Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim. The ceremony progressed with the singing of Negaraku and Jalur Gemilang. Guests were also served popular Malaysian food and drinks, such as Nasi Lemak, teh tarik and some traditional Malaysian delicacies. It was a small but meaningful event to commemorate our special day.
