On Thursday, 23 May 2019, H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim met edotco (e.co) representatives who made a courtesy call on him at the Embassy. The Ambassador’s visitors were Mr Phillip Wong, Chief Regional Officer and Mr Tan Boon Ee, Head of Business Development.
Edotco is a subsidiary of AXIATA Group Berhad, a Malaysian company. The main business of Edotco is providing wireless network infrastructure. The company began its operation in Cambodia since 2013. Other than Cambodia and Malaysia, Edotco also operates in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Pakistan. It is now the 13th largest tower company in the world and is expected to be in the top five largest tower company in the world. Currently, it owns and manages about 29,600 towers in the above mentioned countries. In Cambodia it operates about 2,600 towers. Its main customers are SMART, CELLCARD, Cootel, Kingtel and Seatel.
