On Saturday, 25 May 2018, H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim paid a visit to a garment factory owned by a Malaysian company – PCCS Group Bhd. The factory - JIT Textiles Ltd is located about 20 km from Phnom Penh city centre. It is one of the biggest Malaysian owned garment factory in Cambodia. It began operation in Cambodia in 1995. Now, the factory employs about 2800 workers and 30 of them are Malaysians. Most of the factory products are exported to all over the world especially Europe, Canada, Australia and the USA. Among the brands produced by the factory are PUMA, CARHART, DECATHLON, ACSIS, MATALAN, and a few others. Continuous big orders from various buyers help the factory to enjoy a good business and it is likely to expand its operation in Cambodia and thus, would offer more job opportunities for Cambodians.
