On Tuesday, 11 June 2019, H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim received three representatives from Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), led by Ms Nik Yazmin Nik Azman, Chief Commercial Officer.
MHTC is an agency under the Ministry of Finance, established to facilitate the strategic development of Malaysia's healthcare travel industry, and to raise the country's profile as a globally-preferred destination for world-class healthcare services. Cambodia is a country that has yet to be explored by MHTC. The team came to Phnom Penh to survey the market. Ambassador encouraged them to grab the opportunity as Cambodia is fast developing and the economy is improving which help to enlarge the size of middle and upper class groups, allowing the people to afford the high quality medical services abroad.
