H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim warmly welcomed the visit by a delegation of 27 members of the Institution of Engineers (IEM), Malaysia at the Embassy on 5 December 2022. Through this meeting, IEM delegates and Embassy officials were also able to establish networking and explore possible collaborations between Malaysia and Cambodia. The visit by this group led by Ir. Prof Dr. Norlida Buniyamin accompanied by Secretary General of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) to Cambodia, is in conjunction with the hosting of the 40th Conference of CAFEO held from 5-7 December 2022, at Sokha Hotel, Phnom Penh.
