30 January 2026 – His Excellency Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Cambodia delivered the opening remarks at the Launching Ceremony of the Sunway Medical City Expo 2026 that was held at AEON Mall Sen Sok City (AEON II), Phnom Penh.
The Expo was officially launched by H.E. Mr. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, together with H.E. Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia and Dr. Khoo Chow Huat, Managing Director of Hospital & Healthcare Operations, Sunway Healthcare Group.
The event also saw the participation of Sunway-related entities and Sunway’s strategic partners in Cambodia, including AirAsia Cambodia and Tourism Malaysia Phnom Penh, highlighting the strong linkages between Malaysia and Cambodia in the healthcare sector.
