Currently, the Letter of Good Conduct is issued based on statutory declaration within 3 working days.
However, with effect from 28th June 2013, Letter of Good Conduct will NOT be issued based on statutory declaration.
All applications must be submitted online as per Procedure A as mention below. Applicant is advised to check the status of the applications after two (2) months from the date of application.
For approved application, please follow Procedure B for collection.
PROCEDURE TO REGISTER GOOD CONDUCT ONLINE
Procedure A:
STEP 1 – www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/online
STEP 2 – Submit application online
STEP 3 – Print out acknowledgement slip
STEP 4 – Check the status of your application online (processing time: 2 months)
Procedure B:
For APPROVED Good Conduct Application (issuance of letter of Good Conduct at Embassy of Malaysia, Phnom Penh), the payment and collection of document procedures are as follows:-
i) Present a copy of the APPROVAL SLIP (online)
ii) A copy of the applicant’s
a) Malaysian Identity Card & Malaysian Passport OR
b) Foreign Passport
iii) Payment of USD7.00 (cash)
iv) Collection at Consular Section after 3 days;
