6 July 2025 - The Embassy of Malaysia in Phnom Penh hosted the 2025 Malaysian Ambassador’s Football Shield on Sunday, 6 July 2025. A total of 24 teams participated in the 2025 Football Shield.
The event was aimed at further fostering friendship between Malaysians and Cambodians through sports diplomacy.
H.E. Dr. Un Kheang, Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) officiated the opening ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
Cambodia Airways clinched the title as the 2025 Malaysian Ambassador’s Football Shield Champion after defeating NagaWorld in the Finals.
