On 10 January 2022, H.E. Ambassador Eldeen met with a representative from the Cambodian Basketball Association. Both sides discussed recent developments in the sport of basketball, and explored ways to build closer linkages between Malaysia and Cambodia in this field towards aiding sports development in Malaysia and Cambodia. This meeting forms part of the Embassy's sports diplomacy efforts, to enhance ties between the two countries through collaboration in sports.
