31 August 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Phnom Penh organised a Merdeka Day celebration with the Malaysian community, in commemoration of the 68th Anniversary of the Independence of Malaysia.
The programme featured the singing of the national anthem Negaraku and patriotic songs by the attendees.
This was followed by the recitation of the Rukun Negara, led by a group of Malaysian children, which added vibrancy to the atmosphere.
Traditional Malaysian dishes were also served, further enhancing the spirit of Merdeka throughout the celebration.
The Embassy extends its heartfelt appreciation to all Malaysians who joined the Merdeka celebration, reflecting the true Malaysian spirit of muhibbah, unity and patriotism.
