The Embassy of Malaysia Cambodia through its Tourism Office hosted the Tourism Malaysia Seminar B2B and networking session in Phnom Penh today. A group of Malaysian tour agents, hoteliers and event managers travelled to the Kingdom of Wonder for a four-day working visits, to promote and entice Cambodian tour agents to market Malaysia as the chosen venue and their holiday destination. HE Datuk Eldeen Hussaini Mohd Hashim in his speech stated that the Embassy is ever ready to work with the new team that will govern the Tourism Ministry in ensuring the work that both countries have worked on will be further developed. This initiative taken by Tourism Malaysia provides avenue for Cambodian tour agents to be updated with the recent holiday packages offered leading up to Visit Malaysia Year 2025. The delegation will travel to Siem Reap, to continue with their efforts in establishing 2B2 networks with their stakeholders in Siem Reap. It is hoped that this effort would increase tourist arrivals from Cambodia into Malaysia in the final quarter of 2023.
