On 15 July 2021, H.E. Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim had a meeting with H.E. Tean Samnang, President of the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR), Cambodia via video conference. The meeting was to inform NIDIR on the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) scholarship that the Malaysian Government is offering to Cambodian officers.
In the meeting, the two sides also explored cooperation opportunities in the education field for young diplomats from Malaysia and Cambodia.
May this meeting open the door for closer collaboration between the two countries' diplomatic training institutes, as well as between the respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
