Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait hosts Reception to Celebrate 56th National Day of Malaysia and 50th Malaysia Day
In the evening of Wednesday, 9 October 2013, H.E. Dato’ Adnan Haji Othman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait and Datin Azlinda Rosli hosted a reception to celebrate the 56th National Day of Malaysia (31 August 2013) and the 50th Malaysia Day (16 September 2013).
The reception began with the national anthems of Kuwait and Malaysia, followed by a cake cutting ceremony by H.E. Ambassador and H.E. Mustafa Jassem Al-Shamali, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil of Kuwait who was the guest of honour.
About 250 guests attended the reception including local government leaders, foreign Ambassadors, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and other government agencies, leaders of the private sector, members of the media and academia, members of the Malaysian community in Kuwait and officers and staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait.

Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait menghoskan Majlis Resepsi Hari Merdeka ke-56 dan Hari Malaysia ke-50
Pada waktu petang hari Rabu, 9 Oktober 2013, TYT Dato’ Adnan Haji Othman, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait dan Datin Azlinda Rosli telah menghoskan satu majlis resepsi memperingati Hari Merdeka ke-56 (31 August 2013) dan Hari Malaysia ke-50 (16 September 2013).
Majlis resepsi tersebut dimulakan dengan lagu kebangsaan Kuwait dan Malaysia. Ini diikuti dengan majlis memotong kek oleh TYT Duta Besar dan TYT Mustafa Jassem Al-Shamali, Timbalan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Minyak Kuwait dan tetamu kehormat majlis tersebut.
Seramai 250 orang tetamu telah menghadiri sambutan tersebut seperti pemimpin-pemimpin tempatan, Duta-duta Besar asing, pegawai kanan dari Kementerian Luar Negari Kuwait dan Kerajaan Kuwait, pemimpin sector swasta, ahli media dan academia, ahli masyarakat Malaysia di Kuwait dan pegawai dan staf Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kuwait.
