On 14 August 2015, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee in Kuwait (ACK) held its 4th annual bowling tournament at the Bowl Room of the 360 Mall in Al-Zahra, Kuwait. H.E. Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait opened the tournament in his capacity as Chairman of the ACK for 2015.
Three teams consisting of three bowlers each from the Embassies of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam participated in the tournament. Each Embassies’ contingent were led by their respective Ambassadors or Charge d’Affaires a.i.. Family, friends and supporters from the various Embassies were also present to cheer on the bowlers.
At the end of two rounds of play, the Red Team comprising the Embassies of Laos, the Philippines and Cambodia emerged as overall champion. The Blue Team comprising the Embassies of Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand came in as 1st Runner-Up, with the Yellow Team made up of the Embassies of Brunei, Vietnam and Indonesia following as 2nd Runner-Up. H.E. Ambassador Ahmad Rozian won both the top scorer trophies (overall and Ambassador’s category), while Mr. Madayao Lucman from the Philippine Embassy won the “Turkey” trophy.
The ACK 4th Bowling Tournament of 2015 was played in a competitive but friendly spirit reflecting the brotherly ties and esprit de corps amongst the ASEAN community in Kuwait.

Pertandingan Boling ke-Empat Jawatankuasa ASEAN di Kuwait, 14 Ogos 2015
Pada 14 Ogos 2015 Jawatankuasa ASEAN di Kuwait (ACK) telah mengadakan Pertandingan Boling Ke-4 di Bowl Room, 360 Mall di Al-Zahra. TYT Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait selaku Pengerusi ACK 2015 telah merasmikan Pertandingan Boling tersebut.
Negara-negara ASEAN dari Kedutaan Besar Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Filipina, Thailand dan Vietnam telah dibahagikan kepada tiga kumpulan. Setiap Kedutaan diketuai oleh TYT Duta Besar atau Kuasa Usaha Sementara masing. Para penyokong dan ahli keluarga telah memberikan sokongan padu bagi setiap pasukan Kedutaan-kedutaan Besar tersebut.
Selepas dua permainan yang sengit sepanjang perlawanan tersebut, Kumpulan Merah yang terdiri daripada Kedutaan Besar Laos, Filipina dan Cambodia telah muncul sebagai juara keseluruhan, manakala Kumpulan Biru yang terdiri daripada Kedutaan Besar Malaysia, Myanmar dan Thailand menduduki tempat kedua, dan Kumpulan Kuning terdiri daripada Kedutaan Besar Brunei, Viet Nam dan Indonesia menduduki tempat ketiga.
TYT Duta Besar Ahmad Rozian telah memenangi kedua-dua trofi skor tertinggi (keseluruhan dan kategory Duta Besar) manakala Encik Madayao Lucman dari Kedutaan Besar Filipina telah memenangi trofi “Turkey”.
Pertandingan Bowling ke-4 ACK 2015 telah menyaksikan aksi dan saingan yang hebat namun penuh dengan semangat setia kawan yang tinggi di kalangan anggota ASEAN di Kuwait.
