ASEAN COMMITTEE IN KUWAIT (ACK) ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT, 21 JULY 2018
On 21 July 2018, the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) held its annual bowling tournament at The Bowl Room, 360 Mall. This year’s event was hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy within its capacity as the Chairman of ACK for 2018/2019. Guest participants from the Embassies of Japan and the Republic of Korea were also invited to participate.
This year’s format saw each of the participating Embassies competed each other, in a team consists of three members of diplomatic or the local staffs. The Malaysian team was represented by Mr. Muhammad Nur Anuar Nordin, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. (CDA a.i.) of the Embassy as well as Mr. Mohd Azzaiyadi Mohd Padzil and Mr. Bassam Dalle.
At the end of the tournament, the Indonesian Team emerged as champion, followed by the team of the Philippines and South Korea as the first and the second runner-up respectively. The successful tournament reflected the importance to strengthen the ASEAN Member States’ camaraderie, especially through sports activities.

KEJOHANAN BOLING TAHUNAN JAWATANKUASA ASEAN DI KUWAIT (ACK), 21 JULAI 2018
Pada 21 Julai 2018, Jawatankuasa ASEAN di Kuwait (ACK) menganjurkan Kejohanan Boling Tahunan di The Bowl Room, 360 Mall. Kejohanan tahun ini dikelolakan oleh Kedutaan Besar Thailand di atas kapasitinya sebagai Pengerusi ACK 2018/2019. Peserta jemputan dari Kedutaan Besar Republik Korea dan Jepun telah turut menyertai.
Format kejohanan tahun ini menyaksikan setiap Kedutaan bersaing antara satu sama lain sebagai satu kumpulan yang terdiri daripada pegawai diplomatik atau kakitangan ambilan tempatan. Malaysia telah diwakili oleh Encik Muhammad Nur Anuar Nordin, Kuasa Usaha Sementara (CDA a.i.) dan Encik Mohd Azzaiyadi Mohd Padzil and Encik Bassam Dalle.
Di penghujung kejohanan, Pasukan Indonesia telah dinobatkan sebagai juara, manakala Pasukan Filipina dan Pasukan Republik Korea masing-masing telah muncul sebagai pemenang tempat kedua dan ketiga. Kejayaan kejohanan ini mencerminkan kepentingan mengeratkan hubungan setiakawan antara Negara Anggota ASEAN, khususnya melibatkan pengelolaan aktiviti kesukanan.
