On 9 May 2014, H.E. Dato’ Adnan Bin Haji Othman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the State of Kuwait was one of the guests of honour at the grand opening of the Boodai Travel Mart (BTM) 2014 on 9 and 10 May 2014 at the 360 Mall in Kuwait. H.E. Ambassador was joined by Mr. Sultan Al-Shammari, Director of Flight Operations, Directorate General for Civil Aviation; H.E. Jorge Biga, Ambassador of Argentina to Kuwait and Mr. Monzer Najia, Chief Executive Officer of Boodai Aviation Group (BAG) at the opening ceremony.
The Boodai Travel Mart 2014 is one of Kuwait’s major annual tourism events and is organised by the BAG. Tourism Malaysia Dubai is the major sponsor of the event which is expected to further promote Malaysia as the tourism destination for Kuwaitis and residents in Kuwait, as well as to enhance tourism relations between Malaysia and Kuwait.

TYT Dato’ Adnan Bin Haji Othman, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait Mengunjungi Majlis Perasmian Boodai Travel Mart 2014, 9-10 Mei 2014
Pada 9 Mei 2014, TYT Dato’ Adnan Bin Haji Othman, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait telah menyertai Majlis Perasmian Boodai Travel Mart (BTM) 2014 yang telah berlangsung pada 9 dan 10 Mei 2014 di Pusat Membeli Belah 360 di Kuwait. Encik Sultan Al-Shammari, Pengarah Operasi Penerbangan, Jabatan Penerbangan Awam Kuwait; TYT Jorge Biga, Duta Besar Argentina ke Kuwait dan Encik Monzer Najia, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif juga telah menyertai majlis tersebut.
Boodai Travel Mart 2014 anjuran Boodai Aviation Group dan ditaja oleh Pejabat Pelancongan Malaysia Dubai merupakan platform penting untuk Malaysia mempromosi pelancongan negara secara efektif dan juga untuk menarik perhatian rakyat Kuwait dan rakyat asing di Kuwait untuk memilih Malaysia sebagai destinasi pelancongan pilihan. Program seumpama ini dilihat mampu untuk mengeratkan hubungan dua hala Malaysia dan Kuwait dalam sektor pelancongan.
