The Embassy of Malaysia in the State of Kuwait wishes to convey that the Government of Malaysia has decided to initiate the Langkawi Travel Buble as part of the post-pandemic economic recovery efforts to invite potential tourists to visit the island.
Under the programme, fully vaccinated tourists are allowed to enter Langkawi starting 15 November 2021 for a minimum stay of three (3) days and could subsequently travel to locations outside Langkawi after spending seven (7) days on the island.
Key SOPs to follow:
1. Fully vaccinated travellers.
2. Negative PCR test 72 hours before the journey
3. Entry into Langkawi via air travel only
4. No MyTravelPass (MTP) application required
5. Compulsory to use Travel Agencies licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture Malaysia (MOTAC)
6. Subscribe to an insurance policy valued at USD 80,000.00
