In the afternoon of Friday, 23 January 2015, the Malaysian Association in Kuwait (MAK) held its Annual General Meeting for 2015 at the Multipurpose Hall of the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait.
2. The AGM was officially opened by His Excellency Dato’ Adnan Bin Haji Othman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait in his capacity as Patron of MAK after opening remarks by Mr. Azeli Azalan, the outgoing MAK President. During the AGM, Ambassador Dato’ Adnan also presented certificates of appreciation to the outgoing MAK committee members of 2014. At the AGM, the following individuals were elected as the new MAK committee for 2015:
- President: Mr. Mikhail Harith
- Vice President: Mr. Mohd Nazri Zain
- Secretary: Mrs. Shamsiah Abdul Rahman
- Treasurer: Mr. Mohd Azheem Bahari
3. The Embassy wishes to congratulate Mr. Mikhail, the new MAK President and his committee great success in their work in 2015. The Embassy also expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Azeli, the outgoing MAK President and his committee of 2014 for all their excellent work in the past year which has greatly benefitted the Malaysian community in Kuwait.

Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan 2015 Persatuan Malaysia di Kuwait (MAK), 23 Januari 2015
Pada hari Jumaat, 23 Januari 2015, Persatuan Malaysia di Kuwait (MAK) telah mengadakan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan bagi tahun 2015, bertempat di Dewan Serbaguna Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kuwait.
AGM tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh T.Y.T. Dato’ Adnan Bin Haji Othman, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait dalam kapasiti beliau sebagai penaung MAK selepas kata-kata pembukaan Encik Azeli Azalan, Presiden MAK bagi tahun 2014.
Semasa AGM berkenaan, T.Y.T. Dato’ Adnan juga telah menyampaikan sijil penghargaan kepada ahli-ahli AJK MAK bagi tahun 2014 atas sumbangan yang cemerlang pada tahun tersebut. Hasil dari AGM tersebut, AJK MAK bagi tahun 2015 yang dilantik adalah seperti berikut:
- Presiden: Encik Mikhail Harith
- Timbalan Presiden: Encik Mohd Nazri Zain
- Setiausaha: Puan Shamsiah Abdul Rahman
- Bendahari: Encik Mohd Azheem Bahari
3. Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kuwait ingin mengucapkan tahniah kepada Encik Mikhail, Presiden MAK dan ahli-ahli jawatankuasa MAK bagi tahun 2015. Kedutaan Besar juga ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Encik Azeli, Presiden MAK 2014 dan ahli-ahli jawatankuasa MAK 2014 ke atas sumbangan cemerlang mereka kepada masyarakat Malaysia di Kuwait.
