The Malaysian Food Bazaar was held at the Embassy of Malaysia on 31 March 2012. The Bazaar was organised by the Embassy of Malaysia in collaboration with the Malaysian Ladies Association in Kuwait or PERWAKILAN Kuwait.
The four hour event which began at noon, saw as many as 600 guests from diplomatic corps, international expatriates, Kuwaitis and Malaysians to buy the various Malaysian food and delicacies which were prepared by the members of the Ladies Association and volunteers as well as Malaysian handicrafts and books.
Some of the food which were sold were satay, nasi lemak, nasi kerabu, keropok lekor, goreng pisang, mee rebus, asam laksa, Malaysian kuih muih just to name a few. The event was of considerable success as most of the items were sold-out.
Three local newspapers and a television crew from Al-Watan were at the Bazaar to cover the event.
The Malaysian Embassy and the Malaysian Ladies Association of Kuwait wishes to thank and congratulate all the people that have contributed in ensuring the success of the Malaysian Food Bazaar.
