The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), in cooperation with the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait, led a Specialised Marketing Mission on Oil and Gas to Kuwait in conjunction with the Kuwait Oil and Gas Show (KOGS) from 10 to 14 October 2015.
The Specialised Marketing Mission was led by Mr. Remee Yaakub, Trade Commissioner, MATRADE Dubai and consisted of seven Malaysian oil and gas companies, as well as officials from MATRADE headquarters and MATRADE Dubai.
The Malaysian companies involved with the Specialised Marketing Mission include AMTECH Chemical, EV Oilfield Supply and Services, Energy Quest, Oilfield Technical Inspection, PLC International, Tekno Logam Engineering and Worldwide Tractors.
While in Kuwait, the Specialised Marketing Mission participated at the KOGS at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref and had a number of business meetings with Kuwaiti businesses and oil and gas companies such as AEON Gulf, United Oil Projects Co., Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Co., Kuwait Energy Co., GEMS Advisory and KCC Engineering Co. Individual members of the Specialised Marketing Mission also had separate business meetings with various local Kuwaiti companies to explore business opportunities.
His Excellency Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait also hosted the Specialised Marketing Mission to dinner at the Official Residence on 12 October 2015.

Misi Pemasaran Khas Minyak dan Gas oleh MATRADE ke Kuwait, 10-14 Oktober 2015
MATRADE dengan kerjasama Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Kuwait telah mengadakan Misi Pemasaran Khas bagi sektor minyak dan gas ke Kuwait bersempena dengan Pameran “Kuwait Oil and Gas Show” (KOGS) dari 10 hingga 14 Oktober 2015.
Misi Pemasaran ini diketuai oleh Encik Remee Yaakub, Pesuruhjaya Perdagangan, MATRADE Dubai yang melibatkan tujuh buah syarikat minyak dan gas Malaysia dan juga pegawai-pegawai MATRADE dari ibu-pejabat dan Dubai.
Syarikat-syarikat Malaysia yang terlibat adalah AMTECH Chemical, EV Oilfield Supply and Services, Energy Quest, Oilfield Technical Inspection, PLC International, Tekno Logam Engineering dan Worldwide Tractors.
Semasa di Kuwait, MATRADE turut terlibat dalam KOGS dan beberapa pertemuan dan mesyuarat telah diadakan dengan syarikat-syarikat Kuwait termasuklah dengan AEON Gulf, United Oil Projects Co., Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Co., Kuwait Energy Co., GEMS Advisory dan KCC Engineering Co. Beberapa mesyuarat berasingan di antara syarikat Malaysia dan syarikat-syarikat Kuwait juga turut diadakan semasa misi tersebut.
TYT Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait juga telah menghoskan jamuan makan malam bagi meraikan delegasi Malaysia tersebut di Rumah Malaysia pada 12 Oktober 2015.
