On 16 September 2012, the Malaysian Embassy hosted a reception on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the National Day of Malaysia and 49th Anniversary of Malaysia Day at the Regency Hotel, Kuwait.
Guest of honour His Excellency Khalid Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and His Excellency Dato' Adnan Haji Othman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Kuwait officiated the reception. As many as 330 guests comprising of diplomats, officials, business and academic community as well as the media attended the reception.

Pada 16 September 2012, Kedutaan Besar Malaysia telah menghoskan majlis resepsi sempena Ulangtahun Hari Kebangsaan Malaysia ke-55 dan Ulangtahun Hari Malaysia ke-49 di Regency Hotel, Kuwait.
Tetamu kehormat iaitu TYT Khalid Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Luar Negeri Kuwait dan TYT Dato' Adnan Haji Othman, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kuwait telah merasmikan upacara tersebut. Seramai 330 bilangan tetamu yang merangkumi para diplomat, pegawai-pegawai kerajaan, ahli-ahli sektor swasta dan akademik serta ahli media telah menghadiri majlis resepsi tersebut.
