The Hon. Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and the Hon. Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah made an official visit to the State of Kuwait from 21-22 March 2009. The Hon. Prime Minister was accompanied by the Hon. Tan Sri Noor Mohammed Yakcop, Finance Minister II, the Hon. Tan Sri Amirsham A Aziz, Minister at the Prime Minister's Department, the Hon. Dato' Abd Rahim Bakri, Deputy Foreign Minister, the Hon. Dato' Abdul Ghani Othman, Chief Minister of Johor and senior officials from several government agencies.
The Hon. Prime Minister was welcomed officially by HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait.
Additionally, The Hon. Prime Minister received courtesy visits by Mr. Ghanem Al-Ghenaiman, acting Director-General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and Mr. Bader Al-Saad, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority at the Bayan Palace.
