To celebrate the 51st National Day of Malaysia ( on 31August 2008), the Embassy of Malaysia in the State of Kuwait hosted a reception at the Crown Plaza Hotel, on Thursday, 28 August 2008. The reception was held ahead of the actual National Day of Malaysia on 31 August 2008.
The guest of honour was the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Ambassador Mohd Ahmad Al-Mejren Al-Roumy. Other guests included several members of the Kuwaiti royal family, senior Kuwaiti government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, prominent business figures and the Malaysians in Kuwait.
