VISIT BY THE HON. DATO' SERI RAFIDAH AZIZ, MINISTER OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND INDUSTRY MALAYSIA

The Hon. Dato' Seri Rafidah Aziz, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia led a 28 member delegation on a Trade and Investment Mission to Kuwait from 14-16 January 2008.
The accompaniying officials included senior representatives from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysian External Trade Development Board (MATRADE), Malaysian Investment Development Board (MIDA), Members of Parliament, Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and including 2 reporters from BERNAMA. Apart from that, 14 Malaysian companies were also part of the business delegation to Kuwait.
The Hon. Dato' Seri Rafidah Aziz was the keynote speaker in the Malaysia-Kuwait Business Opportunities Seminar held at the Sheraton Kuwait on 15 January 2008. During the stay in Kuwait, the Hon. Dato' Seri Rafidah Aziz also had the opportunity to make a courtesy call to the HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.
