ACMC BUSINESS MISSION TO NUEVO LEON - SME EXPO 22 JUNE 2025

His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin Johan, Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC), has just arrived at Monterrey airport from Mexico City, and attended the prestigious SME Expo in Nuevo León. This event officially marks the beginning of ACMC Business mission to the State of Nuevo León. "Made in Nuevo León" is a renewed and strengthened program to promote SME’s products made in Nuevo Leon.
At the SME Expo, Ambassador Jamal had the opportunity to meet with innovative small and medium enterprises from across the region. His visit underscores Malaysia’s commitment—through MATRADE and the ASEAN Committee—to foster collaboration, trade, and investment opportunities for ASEAN SMEs. Since leading ASEAN’s activities in Mexico City, Ambassador Jamal has championed initiatives that align with Mexico’s broader foreign policy goals.
This business mission is not merely symbolic—it reflects concrete efforts to build bridges between ASEAN and Mexico. By engaging directly with local entrepreneurs, exploring market potential, and advocating for sectoral collaboration, Ambassador Jamal reinforces the shared vision of economic growth and mutual prosperity.
