BOMB BLAST IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN ON 27 MARCH 2016
The Government of Malaysia strongly condemns the attack that took place in Lahore on 27 March 2016, which has thus far killed 70 people and injured 150 others.
The Government of Malaysia expresses its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and to the bereaved families. Malaysia regards this latest incident as an act of terrorism and hopes that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
Thus far, there is no Malaysian casualties. However, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia through the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad will continue to monitor the situation.
