H.E. Dato’ Ramlan Ibrahim, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea and his wife Datin Hafipah Mohd Shah hosted a dinner party in honour of former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Tun Jeanne Abdullah at the Residence with about seventy guests. Tun Abdullah was on a working visit to the Republic of Korea from 5 – 10 March 2012 to attend the 3rd Asian Leadership Conference. Former heads of governments, scholars and global CEOs across the world participated in the conference themed “Capitalism 4.0: Searching for Post Crisis Solutions”. The Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Dato’ Hamzah Zainudin, who was heading a Technical Mission on Cocoa, Timber, Pepper, Knaf, Palm Oil and Rubber to Korea from 7 – 10 March 2012 was a VIP guest at the dinner. Malaysian students and student leaders, Embassy officers and their spouses as well as Embassy staff also attended the dinner.
