DINNER AT RUMAH MALAYSIA: STRENGTHENING DIGITAL DIPLOMACY OVER MALAYSIAN HOSPITALITY

Ambassador Jamal Sharifuddin Johan had the pleasure of hosting a warm and engaging dinner at Rumah Malaysia in honour of Mr. Nizam Rosli, Digital Alliance Lead, and Ts. Tengku Azrul Tengku Azhar, Director of Digital Regulatory & Sustainability, both from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
Held in a relaxed and welcoming setting, the dinner offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on MDEC’s successful engagements in Mexico and to explore future collaboration in advancing Malaysia’s digital diplomacy. Conversations likely touched on building strategic digital and tech partnerships with Mexican institutions, promoting Malaysia’s leadership in the digital economy, and expanding opportunities under the smart city and sustainability agenda.
It was also a chance to showcase Malaysian hospitality and strengthen the sense of community among fellow Malaysians abroad.
