MEETING WITH DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SECURITY SECRETARY MEXICO CITY
On 22 November, H.E. Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico had a meeting with Lic. Indra E. Berdeja Estrada, Director of Public Security Secretary of Mexico City at the Chancery. She was accompanied by Mr. Oscar Benjamin Deras Quinones, Head of Departmental Unit. During the 1-hour meeting, both sides discussed issues of importance in Mexico City particularly security. Lic. Berdeja apprised the Ambassador about the 24-hour-services provided by the city government, among others, legal; psychology; assistance to handicap persons; policing; social and mobile public care services. Her department provided all the services free-of-charge. It also provided special services to the foreign embassies as well as to expatriates residing in the city.
