MoU Signing Ceremony between UKM and the Government of the State of Mexico, 21 January 2013

Dato’ Jamaiyah M. Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia to Mexico signed as a witness with Dr. Eruviel Avila Villegas, Governor of the State of Mexico to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and the Government of the State of Mexico at the State Government Palace in Toluca, the capital of the State of Mexico on 21 January 2013.  Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Salfarina Salim, Second Secretary and Mr. Johan Dzulkifli, Information Officer to the ceremony.  The ceremony was also attended by Lic. Raymundo Martinez Carbajal, Minister of Education of the State of Mexico; Dr. Eduardo Gasca Pliego, Rector of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) and Dr. Blanca Sandoval Barragan, Cultural Attache of the Embassy of Mexico in Malaysia.  The alumni from the Permata Pintar programme were also present.  Students from the University of Ixtlahuaca, State of Mexico performed ‘Wau Bulan’ and ‘Zapin’ dances during the ceremony.
