On 28 November 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the reception hosted by Ms. Benjamas Tanvetyanont, Consul-General of Thailand in Nanning at Shangri-La Nanning, on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father’s Day.
On the occasion, the Consul General extended his congratulations on the Thailand's National Day, reiterating the close and cordial relations between Malaysia and Thailand.
H.E. Lu Xinning, Vice Governor of Guangxi People’s Government attended the event as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were diplomatic corps from other ASEAN missions in Nanning, and senior officials from local government agencies.
