Visit of the delegation from the National University of Malaysia to Mexico

The delegation from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) led by Professor Shamsul Amri Baharudin, Director, Institute of Occidental Studies, UKM visited Mexico from 8 – 15 September 2007. The delegation of 9 people consists of the Director, Associated Professors and lecturers. The purpose of the visit was to attend a seminar organized by the College of Mexico themed “Malaysia and Mexico – Towards Mutual Understanding”. The participant of the seminar includes the delegations and representation from the College of Mexico.

 

On 13^th September 2007, the College of Mexico organized a small ceremony in celebration of Malaysia 50^th Anniversary and 33^rd Malaysia- Mexico Bilateral Relations. The College invited Senators of the Committee on Foreign Relations Asia – Pacific from the Senate of the Republic of Mexico, Embassy of Malaysia and the delegation from UKM.
