On 25 February 2026, Deputy Chief of Mission Mohd Ishrin Mohd Ishak represented the Embassy as a panellist in the 'ASEAN & EU: Forecasting the Path Ahead' event, organised by the International Relations Student Association of Leiden University.
Alongside other panellists from ASEAN Diplomatic Missions based in The Hague and the Dutch Government, the panel event explored, among others, EU-ASEAN relations, particularly on economic cooperation; the future of regional cooperation amidst the rise of AI; and the role of ASEAN in navigating the current geopolitical developments.
