On 8 August 2013, the Embassy of Malaysia, The Hague hosted an Open House to celebrate the auspicious Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The celebration was marked with Hari Raya prayers in the morning followed by a specially prepared buffet that included dishes such as plain nasi briyani, mutton dalcha, rendang ayam, lontong, meehoon and a selection of Malaysian tropical fruits. The celebration was well attended by some 250 guests, both Malaysians and locals.
