The 3rd Malaysia–Netherlands Bilateral Consultation was held in Putrajaya on 15 January 2026. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Secretary General for Bilateral Affairs, Dato’ Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, and Director for Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Ms. Dominique Kühling.
Both sides reviewed the progress of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in key areas, particularly port management, semiconductors, economic security, water management, higher education, and heritage conservation.
The consultations also provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on current regional and global developments and challenges. The first two bilateral consultations were held in Putrajaya in 2017 and in The Hague in 2023, respectively.
