A high to moderate dose of delightful and delectable classic Malaysian cuisine was presented by one of the best Malaysian celebrity Chef Dato’ Ismail Ahmad on 15 September 2017 at Rumah Malaysia in Wassenaar. The event was organised and hosted by Ambassador of Malaysia His Excellency Dato’ Ahmad Nazri Yusof and his wife Datin Syarizan Adzlinda Mohd Zin with “Malaysia Street Food” as its theme.
These all times favourite cuisines and cooking demonstration by Chef Ismail brings out the authentic taste of Malaysian street food and its food culture into different perspective and of everyday treats, comfort food, sustainable and enjoyable one. Around 35 distinguished guests from Embassies in The Hague attended the event. Dato’ Chef Ismail served the guests with fried Char Kuey Teow and banana fritters. They were also served with Malaysia illustrious roti canai, teh tarik and enjoyed the taste of selection of Malaysian local fruits contributed by the Agriculture Office of the Malaysian Embassy in The Hague.
